NSDRC SSDLUX Portal High Performance Steering Conversion Kit

The NSDRC SSDLUX Portal High Performance Steering Conversion Kit was developed to maximize steering power, steering efficiency, and durability for SSDLUX Portal axle setups.

The NSDRC vertical servo configuration corrects the inefficient steering angles and leverage loss throughout steering travel, allowing the servo horn and steering knuckle to move in a far more efficient synchronized motion for improved steering performance across the entire steering range. Reduced servo load means cooler operating temperatures, improved battery efficiency, and increased servo lifespan.

Compared to conventional carbon fiber mounts that can flex under heavy loads, the rigid CNC machined 7075 aluminum NSDRC system maintains consistent steering precision and power under extreme conditions.

The included servo horn and drag link lengths are specifically designed to provide optimized steering geometry and straightforward installation.

The SSDLUX mount is designed with the servo mounted from the underside of the bracket. For installation, first secure the new mount to the truss assembly, then attach the servo to the mount. Next, install the skid onto the axle. Once these components are assembled, complete the installation by attaching the mount and truss assembly to the axle.

Designed specifically for SSDLUX Portal axles with Y-Link truss as seen in the images above. If you have the version of the truss without the link mount, you need to use our SSDLUX Sporty Portal mount that has the upper link mounts.
