NSDRC DX44 High Performance Steering Conversion Kit

The NSDRC DX44 High Performance Steering Conversion Kit was engineered to dramatically improve steering performance, steering efficiency, durability, and servo longevity on Dlux Fab DX44 axles.

Our system rotates the servo vertically and adjusts the mounting position to create significantly improved steering geometry and more efficient power transfer throughout the entire steering cycle. By correcting the relationship between the servo horn and steering knuckle, the steering motion now works in unison instead of fighting leverage and angle changes found in the stock setup.

Our redesigned steering geometry also relocates the steering linkage mounting point further outward on the knuckle. This greatly improves leverage efficiency, requiring less force from the servo to achieve the same steering output while dramatically increasing usable steering power at the tire.

In testing, the NSDRC DX44 Steering System showed up to a 50% increase in steering force at the knuckle compared to the standard carbon fiber Dlux-style mounts. Unlike carbon fiber mounts that can flex or tilt under extreme load, the NSDRC system maintains rigidity and steering consistency under heavy stress.

All major components are precision CNC machined from premium 7075 aluminum for maximum strength, rigidity, and durability.

The included servo horn and drag link lengths are specifically designed to work together for optimal steering geometry and simple bolt-on installation. Depending on chassis configuration, minor drag link adjustment may be required.
